Teaching used to keep me current with the product, but alas, at some point it became obvious that there were no new Avid users to teach anymore (at least not in my market), so I let my certification lapse. I don't think my area has a regional training center anymore; people who want instruction either learn online or go to LA.

Yes when multi-platforming it's hard to really dig in just like renting a deck

for a day and being expected to know all the menu settings.
