RE: [Avid-L2] P2 AMA Grouping

Workaround is to transcode to Avid media. 20:1 or something for slower drives or dnxhd for faster storage like a Unity. You can always link back when you've settled on your final cut. Using AMA to edit complex sequences is hard enough, let alone with groups, IM-very-HO AMA is no good for that kind of heavy lifting work. Just my two pence (cents)

I've yet to work with AMA and P2 but am going over the workflow and this

plug-in guide:

http://cdn.pinnaclesys.com/SupportFiles/attach/P2_AMA_v5_5_v9_5.pdf

<http://cdn.pinnaclesys.com/SupportFiles/attach/P2_AMA_v5_5_v9_5.pdf>and I'm

surprised to read that 2nd bullet point at the top of the first page, "Avid

does not support MultiCamera editing with P2 AMA clips!"

Is this still the case? Has anyone had to work with multicam via the P2 AMA

workflow and if so, what's the workaround?

Thanks in advance!

Mike
