Re: [Avid-L2] Japan Earthquake: Update

 

Okay, so you want the good news first? Not nearly as much trouble
at work as I feared. Once we picked up all the mess and strung it
all back together, there was one busted monitor, everything else
is okay, we're up for shooting, editing and recording.

Now, the Bad News... have the news on as I'm reading my emails
and they just announced that Tokyo Electric has just called a
news conference, because there's been a new huge jump in leakage
of radioactivity... If I followed the language, the rods are
exposed, water levels not high enough.

I suppose the bright side is that me and Michael, once we turn
glow in the dark, won't need to hire a lighting guy when we go
out shooting... :-/

This is beginning to feel Apocalyptic... can't imagine what the
people in the center of it all are going through mentally.
