[Avid-L2] MC5 on Win XP32?

 

I'm thinking of upgrading my home system from v3 to v5 (or 5.5) to take advantage of AMA and some of the other newer features (like the ability to import MPEG4 AVC H.264 files).
I only use this system for personal stuff like videos of my family and the occasional school science project, so I don't want to add the expense of upgrading the OS and the hassle of re-installing all of the other programs I'm using.
I see on the Avid website that XP32 is qualified to run v5.5, but I just wanted to hear from some of you using this configuration to see if it's worth it, or is it asking too much of the XP OS?
