[Avid-L2] MC5 and ATI 5770

 

Hey all,
About to buy five machines and am wondering how people like the ATI 5770.
Our previous Macs had the ATI Radeon HD 4870 which created some tearing in
the source and record monitors, driving some of our editors nuts.

Is anyone having these issues with the 5770? My gut tells me I should
probably seek out the NVIDIA cards but the quote keeps getting bigger and if
people are happy with these cards, I'll roll the dice.
