So I have a drive that keeps dropping out of my Raid 50. Curious though the
SMART data gives me this reading.
Drive Type SATA
Seagate ST31000340AS
Serial #5QJ0YNZE
Firmware SD1A
Drive Ports 1
Drive Connections 1
Interface Type Direct Attached
WWN N/A
Reallocated Sectors 0
Power On Hour 14151
Temperature 28°C (82°F)
Spindle Speed 65535 RPM
Queuing Supported Yes
The drive is a 7200RPM drive. Is this 65535 RPM spindle speed reading
indication of a failing drive?
