I was asked to edit XDcam EX footage via AMA on an older system (xw8200) that is currently running MC 5.5 / Adrenaline. The EX footage was shot at 1080p, the adrenaline won't work in a 1080p project.
Should I be transcoding & working in a 1080i project instead?
What is the best way to monitor a 1080p project on legacy hardware? Will a matrox mini work with the PCI-e (x4) slot in the xw8200?
Any work-arounds / workflow suggestions are greatly appreciated.
