I realize AMA can do that. Terry was recommending against it. It seems to me that Terry's recommended way to use AMA is remarkably similar to L&T.

With L&T you either Transcode or rewrap depending on the source format and your desired outcome. But Terry was recommending NOT editing natively with anything but the shortest project (and I've heard that recommendation from many others as well). So, unless it's a short "whip it in and whip it out" job,
