Rather than source-based filters, i think i'd prefer AMA-applicable LUTs.
I wouldn't prefer having RT source effects drag down system performance. Via AMA one would apply a LUT (to the original rather than to an already transcoded clip) and then bake it into the master clip during transcode. Very much like R3D AMA.
