This is something that drives me crazy. Somewhere around v3.x on my PC based Symphony, They took out the "confirm quit" prompt when exiting the program. So, when you hit Control Q, the system just shuts down without asking "do you really want to quit?". I've been told this is not the case with Mac based systems, just PC's.
I am a large human being, and I will admit to having large fingers, but I'm really tired of being in a rush, and trying to hit Control W or Control A or Control 2 and finding myself watching the system go bye-bye. Especially now, when I'm working on some very large projects. It can take 3 or more minutes to close, and another 2-3 to re-open and get back to work.
Can someone at Avid please, please, please put the "confirm quit" prompt back into my Symphony?
