I think what they are talking about is that you have watched it all in
real time. Then later when you are shuttling through footage you see
a few frames and it makes you remember something in the footage that
you forgot. I don't think that there are many editors that look at
their footage only once. Ok, not many editors who's names end up on
projects that you see on television or in a movie theater.
