That assumes you have an American sized front room and have invested in
some pretty hard core home cinema equipment.
For the Europeans among us the Cinema (especially the Everyman in
Hampstead, London) still offers something more than one can achieve in
our poky little living rooms ;-)
As for projectionists? Most of them can't find their arse with both
hands.

That's because theaters are just becoming large television screening
rooms. The differentiation between a home theater and the AMC with
digital projection is basically one of size.
