Back in the pre-shared storage days, I had customers who would keep projects
in folders, moving things into the mediafiles folder when editing.

Subject: [Avid-L2] Partitioning drives for different MC projects
Because of MC, ProTools, and other apps storing their files in the root of
an external HD, I've gotten in the habit of making a new partition for every
Avid project. This way, if I need to do a fast copy of everything used in a
project, I know I can just copy that particular drive.
Does anyone else employ this practice? Any reason why I shouldn't?
Thanks!
