Look into the General settings: There you can specify directory for
the temporary files:
Temporary FileDirectory
When you use drag and drop Export or an export that creates an
intermediate movie file, your Avid editing application must store the
intermediate file, which can be as large as the final export. By
default, the Temporary File Directory is located in the same directory
as your Avid editing application.
To improve efficiency or to avoid DISK_FULL errors when exporting, you
can specify a different directory for these temporary files. The ideal
setting for this field is to type in a directory on the drive to which
you are exporting, or simply one with plenty of free space.
