Not to rain on the parade as badly as Terry ;-) .... BUT, there's another interesting implication to this article.

Note that they pinpoint the number of jobs as in the 25,000-28,000 range in the US. Magnify this by a few times that for worldwide numbers. So, it's easy to see that the actual number of professional editors is a meer fraction of the millions of cumulative licenses claimed by the desktop NLE manufacturers.

Think of that the next time you ponder why some features make it and others are ignored in that next NLE update!
