They cut in Avid, exported as QT Uncompressed 10-bit 601. That got sent to
the grading house.

And, as I said, whatever returned from the grading house appears to be in
perfect shape when imported into Avid with the RGB option.

But all _is_ 10bit.

I don't get that. To me 16, is 16, and 235 is 235, 0 is 0 and 255 is 255.
