is a service that a post house could provide. It would be a step up from
the Digital Service Station. A client could ship them their material, and
then work with it remotely from their server. When the cut is done, it gets
finished at the facility using the media that is already there. It might be
something like a web hosting service for video editing.
I'm curious about how the licensing would work for the application. Does
the facility pay for the server, storage, and then a certain # of licenses?
And then maybe an editor/producer could choose to rent a web license from
them rather than a room. Or maybe the editor could buy client software that
is always theirs, and pay a facility for the amount of storage they use.
