[Avid-L2] Re: Avid cloud

You can edit from your summer home now with local software...what's the difference? I was testing iChat Share Screen the other day with another editor, where I "shared" his screen and did a couple edits on his Avid from my laptop. The experience was totally unacceptable. This has a lot of "wow" factor, but with software and storage so cheap, why not have it local? I would rather have Avid spend its money on other critical needs than something like this. Just my humble opinion...
