year career as an editor. Mixing resolutions.. more than eight tracks
of playback audio... colouring clips in the timeline... playback on
both sides of the trim tool... all great features, but none of them
significantly alter the way you work.
But this! Wowsers! Avid should make more of this as a marketing tool.
My Exec Producer dropped in yesterday for a chat and his jaw hit the
floor when I randomly started clicking on the transcript, then playing
back... Immediately, he saw just how significant a timesaver it could be...
Which might have been a big mistake.
