Re: [Avid-L2] DNxHD export yields QT file w/halfscreen image

isn't that looking at the files with the new codec on a computer with the old codecs?

Subject: [Avid-L2] DNxHD export yields QT file w/halfscreen image

ok, enough of the p2 craziness... . here's something completely
different: i have several files exported from my Nitris DX running on
os x 10.5.7 / MC 4.05 that, when opened on another computer with the
Avid LE codecs (2.0) installed, shows an image on only half of the
frame (top half) when reduced to half size to fit within the screen.
when the image is manually resized the image displays what looks like
interlacing issues that "moire" as you move the size. but still only
half screen. when i check the same files on my Avid system (in QT)
they show normally. more oddly, these files worked fine a couple of
weeks ago on the same system(s) that don't work now. i thought it
could be a new codec issue, but downloading the new codecs did not
resolve the issue. i exported as animation and that worked fine, as
expected. fwiw, Avid SD files work as expected.
cheers
bruce
