[Avid-L2] Symphony 1.8 and DNX QT export

Had a strange one today.

Had a DNX185 Symphony job that had been laid to HDCAM. Customer also wanted a QT export.
So I did a Same as source QT export. All looked good but I wasn't sure all the media was DNX185 so I also decided to to a QT export with DNX185 as the codec.
All the rest of the settings the same. 601 levels etc.

Both files ended up almost the same size but when opened in QT player the second export looked washed out (601 levels?) The same as source look much better.

So I then tried re-importing them. The same a source didn't come in as a fast import? but did end up with the correct levels. The forced DNX export came in as a fast import but had lifted blacks and reduced whites.

How weirds that.
