does the footage get squeezed back to 1440x1080
No. The XDCAMHD spec has always been full 1920x1080 raster. The confusion
comes in because the PDW-350 and 355 use a 1440x1080 sensor. Also if you
record 60P slo-mo that is recorded 1440x1080 due to bandwidth constraints.
The newer EX-1, 3 and newer cameras all use a full 1920x1080 sensor.
