But there are some limitations. I saw Sony's video yesterday that said
sequences exported to (send to) XDCAM devices are limited to the
sequence's default CODEC.

There are videos and workflow PDFs at the Sony XDCAM site. Most only
deal with standard import workflows and not AMA.
