[Avid-L2] {Moviola} RED Update

On top of shipping the Scarlet and Epic, RED is upgrading the sensor
on RED ONE (starting with legacy customers moving forward). It seems
to achieve amazing results in low light with no noise.

David Fincher shot some test footage of Leonardo DiCaprio on a RED ONE
with a Mysterium-X sensor at ISO 2000 and a Master Prime at T 1.3 (or
slightly stopped down from there). Key light is only a match.). Key
light is only a match. When the match goes out, Leo's face goes black.

RED seems to also be consolidating some of their telecine programs (no
more REDRushes/REDAlrert). REDCine-X works with the "real-time" RED
Rocket board (which DS 10.3 supports), is in beta and has some new LUT/
Color capabilities). The beta can be downloaded here:

And, of course, don't forget that Moviola is offering two RED courses
including the:

MC315: Digital Cinema: RED, Avid and Beyond
(taught by Daniel McGilvray, ACSR and J.R. Hughto, ACSR from Runway).
