RE: [Avid-L2] Re: Offloading disks, could use some input.

Not sure about byte for byte but it does a data verification and it also
pre-emptively checks for bad sectors on the disks.

Great little util. Now you tell me! (i'm almost done writing the darn
stuff..)

BUT, does it do byte by byte comparison?
And, price is 2K USD, unlike 9.95 euro for my app. (granted, you have to
add
a laptop...)
To answer the question before you ask it: No, my app does not yet
provide
video playback, but i'll add that after i've sold 100 pieces :-)
