Hi Oliver,

Have I seen the light? Yes in regard to Apple, Adobe and Avid, but
what RED will do is another matter, they have given the other players
ample time and opportunity to do something and they appear not to be
interested. So if you were RED with an Ap like REDCineX that was 50%
already there as an NLE, what would you do? WTS.

All this aside, their needs to be a nonpropietary format that
emerges to handle RAW files and gives the grading ability that RED
does. I beleive that push is more likely to come from Cannon (1,5,7 D)
and Adobe Light Room (that manages moving pictures) than anywhere else
but In the meantime RED is on the only "choice on the block".

Oh, and one more thing, Scarlet 2/3 for the prosumer, how are they
going to edit, hmm, me thinks another good reason for RED to get into
the editing game.
