I am intrigued by your suggested workflow using AE, so are your
suggesting you edit on FCP and then import into AE for playout? Does
AE support the RR card? How do you grade?
Interesting concept though, tell me more.
What I want to see is the ability of FCP to edit nativly by debating
on the fly using RR without any transcoding hit and then "Round Robin"
to COLOR which again uses the RR card to debayer on the fly, but my
understanding is that COLOR is heavily GPU based, so this will never
happen.
