The basic principle behind Mix and Match is: capture/import into a project
that matches the framerate and framesize. Then edit it in any type of
project you like.
Assuming NTSC 30i SD for the DV and DVCAM, and assuming 1080/59i for the
HDV, simply flip the Project Format switch to 1080/59i, import the HDV
clips, and their framesize and framerate will be preserved. Flip the project
back to SD and your HDV footage will be payed back as SD. Flip the project
to HD again, and your SD will be upscaled upon playback to HD.
If you stay in an SD project and import, the files will be scaled down to SD
upon import.
