RE: [Avid-L2] effects won't render

Have you tried rendering them individually? Are any of them Boris effects?
I've run into Boris effects that wouldn't render. You could even put a
submaster on the track above and render that, and it would still leave a red
line over the effect. I think for those I had to take the effect off,
reapply and set it up again from scratch.

I've never run into more than one at a time, but on such a long show there
might be more.

Subject: [Avid-L2] effects won't render

I have a sequence, 28 minutes long, with a variety of color fx and a
few others, all appear to be rendered yet when I select "render In/
Out or Expert Render, it goes through the motions but when I render
again the same number of effects need rendering. In other words, I
render in and out, 37 effects to render, hit render, goes through the
process, and when I select render in and out it tells me there are 37
to render. Is this odd? MC 4.04 on 8 Core mac and Snow Leopard.
