Subject: [Avid-L2] dual start up disk question

hi all,

a friend of mine just bought a mac desktop, 2.66 GHz quad-core intel xeon
ram 6gb mac osx leopard 10.5.6
if he wants to use both avid and final cut pro on that machine, is it best
to use sepparate start up disk for each avid and fpc?
thanks in advance.
