Not to move this thread even farther OT but, for me, Best Picture is easily "The Hurt Locker". I hope Cameron's ex kicks his butt all the way across Best Director.

Agreed. It took a few minutes for my eyes/brain to adjust to the 3D, but it was awesome. The film is very, very good. Story is a bit cheesy - Native American mystic / environmentalist theme versus the evil, militaristic corporation. Aside from that, I think it's easily a "best picture" contender aside from being an obvious visual effects shoe-in.
