As Dave says, RTFAVIDRN, as they have just added a very useful section
on IO devices and mixers (and info re coexisting with protools). The
Avid docs people stay up late writing this stuff.
It is worth noting that Digi 02 only works with WIndows on Avid. And
that we recently doubled our software realtime monitoring from 8 tracks
to 16.
They also state that the 02 can't be used as a standalone audio mixer
with the new DX hardware. I don't quite get why that is.
