Great minds think alike Steve... I'd had the same thought.

I get the feeling not many others would find it useful to be able to
alt-double-click on a sequence, and then drop stuff onto it? For me,
it'd be handy for the reasons I've outlined previously...

One for the feature requests perhaps?
