[Avid-L2] Re: OT: Mac 10.5 Screen Sharing

Been doing it like crazy at the all mac facility I'm at. It is just the Fing bomb. Set up my digital cut in the bay. Go to the machine room and screen share to my edit computer. Fire off the digital cut while I can easily hand roll a betasp while the digibeta is Avid controlled. The first time I did it I soiled myself just a little. I don't know of any real special setup on this network. I can even do it from my macbook pro just by typing in the log in and I didn't do anything special there. Nobody is Snow Leopard that I know of on this network, don't know if that adds any misery. I have tried it at home with my wife's Imac 10.4.11 and I haven't found a way around her having to okay my screen share access. I don't have that step at work. Could be tiger vs leopard, but I'm just guessing. That and remote access using team viewer is just the binary equivalent to the "Bee's Knees."
