[Avid-L2] Re: OT: Canon 5D 24p firmware

So the 30 fps from the camera is brought in using the ignoreqtrate true console command. That is where the picture gets slowed right? Then if the audio was recorded at 48048 on set it will get the same slow down when brought in at 48K. Everything should jive then correct? My understanding on the Avid side is when the on set audio was recorded at 48K and the film was shot at true 24 when the picture gets telecined at 23.976 the audio then needs to be slowed down when brought into the avid. My initial question was why would you need to slow down audio that was recorded on set at 48048?
