[Avid-L2] Re: Mixed framerate question

Mixing the frame rates is easy in Avid if you have V4. Just open the source bins in your 30i project and cut into the timeline. Avid automagically adds the 2:3 pulldown to the clips.

I'm guessing you may to transcode though as it sounds like you are doing an SD show. You can't output HD clips in the timeline, you have to transcode them to SD. But you won't have to do this until you need to go out to tape, so it would only be the material you actually use in the finished timeline.
