[Avid-L2] Re: Mac G5 help needed - Grey Screen of Death

I would suspect the power supply might be iffy. I've lost one on a pc but before it died it would get wonky if say two of the dvd drives were being used. In other words it was just barely supplying enough power to run the system and then it wouldn't even do that. Just a guess but the power supply is one of the hardest working components in the box.
