[Avid-L2] Re: Disk Warrior for PC

I've used SpinRite for a number of years. Agreed that it hasn't been updated for a long time -- but that may be because there's not much more it can do if a drive is toast.

Although some folks use that program to fix their drives and go forward -- my recommendation would be to resuscitate the drive so you can get critical data off of it -- and then take the drive out of service and replace it with a new drive.
