[Avid-L2] Re: Bad Tape glitch fixing?

Well it is mini DV which is LP compared to DVCam. Like I posted earlier when trying it in a Panny 1400 I manually set the playback format to; DV, DVCPro and DVCam. In DVCam mode the tape played fast ala keystone cops so that tells me it was recorded at the slower DV tape speed. Unfortunately all the modes still yield the error. Best guess at this point as suggested by Pat is bad tape path on the record deck. Funny that it won't play back in the original camera either. Guess it was just a whacky threading of the tape in the field.
