[Avid-L2] Re: OT: Canon 5D 24p firmware

If you record audio at 48048 won't it automatically be slowed down when you bring it in at 48K? I thought that was the whole point of recording 48048. I thought the slow down was needed when you record audio at 48K and have to slow that down to match the video slow down from 30 to 29.97. Am I wrong here?
