Re: [Avid-L2] Media Creation SITE SETTING PLEASE

I'm assuming that you can open up the site settings file and drag the individual user setting that you want to see reflected facility wide over from the Project window into the site settings window. Have you tried this yet? I never have, and in all honesty, I don't know if media creation functions similarly to other user settings
If this works, what it means is that every time a new user is created, that user's individual media creation setting should reflect the site setting. As to existing user settings, I don't think they would be changed. Of course, the problem I've had for years with media creation settings is that the stupid things don't seem to stick. I set them over and over, only to find that the machine is once again trying to render to the C drive.

Is there anyway to make Media Creation Settings a SITE SETTING? Meaning I need
to make sure that no matter who is using our Symphony Nitris DX 3.5 that media
is written and rendered to only ONE DRIVE from our SAN. Likewise for our other
seats.

Anyone know anyway to accomplish this?
