Well that's one way to react, I suppose.
I took it as a more amusing way saying, "Then cross your fingers and hope
for the best". Maybe I'm mistaken, but the only thing I took it a s a
critique of is the difficulties of getting an accurate EDL (and the general
mysteries of how to get modern technology to do our bidding). I'm really not
sure how anyone could have taken it it as a personal attack, unless they
wrote the code for EDL manager software.
