[Avid-L2] Snow Leopard clean install

Ok, Avid is saying you MUST clean install Snow Leopard before installing MC 4.04. If you upgraded from Leopard, it won't install properly.

I've been running MC 4.02 trial on my MacBook with only a little bit of hackery for the past few weeks.

Do you think Avid is just being cautious with this? Or are they just covering their a** to avoid a bunch of tech support calls?

Thoughts?
