[Avid-L2] Real Time Expectations Symphony DNX 220X

How many streams should I reliably get via digital of timelines based in DNX 220X?

Would this change if I am recording the down-convert or using a downconverted 30i output format in the digital cut tool?

What about DNX 220 8 bit?

Absolutely refused to play out a sequence rendered with the exception of a safe color effect spanning the top track. Shouldn't this be possible in a either an 8 bit or 10 bit digital cut?

On Symphony Nitris DX 3.5 via HP 8600 vista 64. 8GB of RAM. 4Gbit fiber storage via Terrablock.
