Delay is part of the plasma landscape. We delay at the mixing board that is used for audio monitoring.
The main "gotcha" with these is that they consistently show some artifacting when displaying SD content. It was not present in the last generation of the same monitor. We've been in touch with Panasonic about it, but they have not solved it yet. We work almost exclusively in HD so it hasn't been a problem. But your workflow may dictate a cautious approach.
