I've been having some thoughts for the logging team for a big job I've
got coming up soon. I'd like them to make use of locators to make
comments about key soundbites that are nestled in clips that they'll
be logging.
So I checked MediaLog, just to make sure that it was actually capable
of adding locators while you're logging. Interestingly, they
'keyboard' setting showed only the most basic transport controls and
mark-in mark-out. However, there's a 'logging' setting that shows a
representation of the F keys along the top of the keyboard, suggesting
that when you're logging, you CAN use the F keys to mark locators.
Thing is, every time I try, I just get a system beep to tell me I'm
being stupid.
Does anyone have any wisdom about this?
