[Avid-L2] Does P2 cameras generate proxies?

Hi every one! I've been asked work on a project that is going to be shot on
P2 away from where I am and we have little time, I was wondering if P2
cameras generate proxies like XDCAM , so I production can send me via FTP
the proxie files and then relink to Online when the job is finished?
