Re: [Avid-L2] Source code on output

Great tool - but doesn't really solve my problem. Interesting idea
about putting the TC into another audio track, too... I can see how
this could be useful for making tapes from RED source material.

But, more lIterally, this should be a setting on Avid- I'd rather
avoid a work-around or trick. The LTC out should be switchable to
source instead of record. Or, put it in VITC - neither seems
possible, so I was hoping I was just missing the setting somewhere.
Since I'm using AMA (for P2), modifying the source files would
completely eliminate the point of this procedure...

In the end, on this particular project, the shooter used continuous
code, instead of TOD, so the clips were more -or-less sequential and
could be alt-dragged onto the timeline, then I changed the timeline
time to match the source time - obvious, duh, but usually file-based
comes in with TOD timecode, not sequential. I was asking for help
before I discovered I didn't actually need it. Regardless, I'll have
the same problem again, so I'm still trying to figure an answer.
