I think that Philip¹s users may not have been running Avid systems on SANmp.

If you want to run Avid systems on a non Avid SAN for project and media
sharing then Facilis Terrablock is a perfect fit in terms of price and
efficiency.

I've adopted a work flow that involves consolidating to a minimum number of
volumes so I don't get burned by the rescan of 25 volumes.
