I subscribe to Avid-L2 through a gmail account. set gmail to forward all
mail to a POP email account. I periodically download all that to a standard
email client, and have a filter that places all Avid-L2 email into its own
folder. Default sort is by subject. So I can scan threads I¹m interested in
and quickly read and delete...or select all and delete all...I find it more
convenient and faster than going to the Yahoo web page or than reading the
digest.

So it¹s in the same email app as all my other email (and other email
accounts), but it¹s not cluttering up my main email window.

That works for me.
